Hi, I’m Janet! I grew up in Los Angeles, California but my roots are in Colima, Mexico. I come from a hardworking immigrant family and I know firsthand the legal challenges families face when trying to build a new life in the United States.

I earned my degree in Legal Studies and Education from UC Santa Cruz and have spent close to a decade working in law offices across the Bay Area and Los Angeles, preparing complex cases. I learned exactly what agencies look for in a strong, approvable case and I’ve seen what causes delays and denials.

Through hard work and God’s grace, I’ve helped clients turn seemingly impossible situations into approvals. Those experiences inspired me to start Premier Legal Consulting, to make navigating an immigration case more accessible and rooted in care.
